State-of-the-Art among the Trek E-Fullys! The new Fuel EXe 9.8 GX AXS celebrates lightweight construction at the highest level. Numerous carbon parts and an intelligent electric motor system from TQ provide agile handling, which is otherwise only known from traditional trail bikes.

Trek brings back the playful feel of a traditional mountain bike with its new Fuel EXe e-fully model line. With a low overall weight and a drive system that uses its power more intelligently and also looks inconspicuous. Because numerous bikers miss the lightness and agility on the trail with an E-MTB. The philosophy behind the Fuel EXe is ingenious: less system weight also means less energy demand. In addition to the lightweight carbon frame, the heart of the Fuel EXe 9.8 GX AXS is the compact TQ HPR 50 motor, which is powered by an equally compact 360 watt-hour battery. The advantages: The drive delivers well-dosed power that is available when you really need it. For example, in the uphill. On descents and easier sections, however, the Fuel EXe can be ridden and handled even with the drive deactivated. With this ensemble, sporty riders can easily get by on normal day trips. Those who need more endurance can put the optionally available range extender battery (160 Wh) in the bottle cage and get about 40 percent more range. The range of use: The chassis offers 150 millimeters of travel at the fork and 140 millimeters at the rear. Thus, it feels comfortable in any terrain, from all-mountain to trail riding.
The frame is made of Trek OCLV carbon, which has been tried and tested for years, and has been completely redesigned for the TQ motor. Responsible for the shape of the drive weighing only 1800 grams is a circular pin-ring gear that rotates around the drive shaft. Installed in the frame, the TQ motor therefore merely looks like an oversized bottom bracket. The slim battery is hidden just as inconspicuously in the down tube. The minimalism also continues in the operation: On the handlebars sits only the remote control on the handle. The display is well protected and integrated in the front part of the top tube. There you have the most important riding data directly in view, for example, riding mode, range, speed and battery charge level. With the help of Bluetooth, the smartphone can be paired with the drive and take over further functions and tuning options. In the 9.8 GX AXS version, the Trek Fuel EXe comes with superior RockShox suspension and select components from Sram. The US forge is known in the scene for sensible lightweight construction at the highest level. This also fits the exclusive carbon wheelset from Bontrager.
We offer the TQ Range Extender in our range to match the Trek Fuel EXe battery with lower power and range. This 160 Wh additional battery extends the range of the Trek Fuel EXe by up to 44%.
The bottle cage included with the Trek Fuel EXe, together with the TQ components such as the strap and the Cable V01, allows you to mount the TQ Range Extender V01 160Wh.
