KTM Macina Aera 772 LFC - The city and touring off-roader with a new frame concept

With the Macina Aera 772 LFC, the concept of combining the comfort of a city and touring bike with the characteristics of a mountain bike has now been developed even further. The result is the Power Tube Sport frame (PTS), in which the chain stays run above the motor and chain to the rear wheel. The construction provides extra stiffness and still guarantees the ascent and descent comfort of a real low stepper. Another advantage: the motor is positioned on edge in the frame, which allows the battery to be placed slightly lower in the down tube. Both measures result in a particularly low centre of gravity, which gives the Macina Aera 772 LFC very stable riding characteristics. Ideal conditions for excursions into light terrain and tours with luggage. The abbreviation LFC stands for the equipment with high-quality Light Fender Carrier mudguards, luggage rack, lighting and side stand. Thanks to the rolling comfort of 2.25 inch wide tyres and a Suntour XCR 34 air suspension fork, you are guaranteed not to be jolted on gravel and forest trails. In typical KTM fashion, the Macina Aera 772 LFC is equipped with high-quality and high-performance components: First and foremost is an extra-strong brake system from specialist Tektro, with 4-piston calipers and 2.3 millimetre thick discs. This creates confidence on descents, even with a heavy luggage load.

The power of the Bosch Performance CX motor

The 4th generation Bosch Performance CX motor, introduced in 2020, continues to be the benchmark in terms of e-bike drive technology. Hardly any other motor meshes so harmoniously and powerfully with the drive. An easy-to-read Bosch Kiox 300 display provides you with all important information during the ride, for example about the selected assistance level and the remaining range. Bosch has also come up with something special here. The Kiox 300 display can be freely configured via the Bosch eBike Flow app (available from autumn 2021) and software updates can now be carried out from the comfort of your own home. The regulation of the support levels is also possible for owners of the Kiox300. The PowerTube battery is elegantly hidden in the down tube and with its increased 750 watt-hour capacity, it will take you to even the most distant destinations.
