Trek says the Rail is built for the rough. But once you've chased this E-Enduro around your home trails, you'll realise: The Rail is certainly beefy and powerful - its powerful Bosch Performance CX drive alone makes sure of that - but it is also sensitive and agile when it comes to handling. Just the way you set it up. For example, you can change the steering angle by 0.5 degrees using the Mino Link, a rotating mini eccentric on the rear rocker. This influences the handling either in the direction of manoeuvrability or smoothness. In typical Trek fashion, the rail stands out from the mainstream with other clever features. For example, the rear bearing point of the rear triangle is not located in front of the wheel axle, as usual, but in the centre. This trick ensures outstanding stiffness at the start. Another practical feature is the side access to the battery compartment on the down tube, which makes it much easier to remove the battery in daily use.

The Rail 7 Gen 2 comes with superior Shimano XT shifting and powerful Shimano 4-piston disc brakes. The RockShox suspension with its 160 millimetres of travel at the fork and 150 millimetres at the rear is capable of handling any terrain. From flow trails to crossing the Alps, every terrain is open to you. With a capacity of 625 watt-hours, the InTube battery will not run out of steam quickly. The Bosch Purion display may be minimalist, but it offers all the necessary features for controlling the drive. The numerous in-house Bontrager parts such as wheels and cockpit are also solid and proven. And thanks to the standard telescopic seatpost, you can jump straight into trail fun.

Trek - Innovative aluminium frame construction

The US company Trek has been one of the pioneers in the processing of aluminium frames since the 1980s. So you can rely on a huge amount of know-how. And of course, the frames are constantly being developed over the generations. The current Rail series uses high-quality Alpha Platinum aluminium. First-class workmanship and light weight. In addition, there are harmonious details such as down tube protection, internally routed cables and a tapered head tube. The Knock Block steering stop prevents the frame from being damaged in the event of a fall.
