OCLV 500 Carbon - price and performance in perfect balance

The OCLV Carbon developed by Trek has been a household name on the scene for years. There are different series for the bike classes, from mountain bike to road bike. The 500 Series variant is slightly less complex in construction than the razor-thin 800 OCLV. However, it is not the lower weight alone that distinguishes a carbon frame from an aluminum frame. Rather, the material offers better opportunities to improve the stiffness at neuralgic points quite specifically. At the same time, zones can be defined at other points of the frame, which improve the ride comfort - but without worsening the stiffness at the start. This is ensured in the Domane SL frame the IsoSpeed system, a flexible connection that decouples the top tube from the seat tube.
