KTM Macina Gravelator SX Elite

The extremely light and compact Bosch Performance SX motor redefines sporty e-biking. The Austrian premium manufacturer KTM has adapted all e-bike model series to this motor, resulting in a lighter design, better handling and a more agile riding experience. The natural riding feeling that you get from a normal bike is noticeably restored. The Macina E-gravel bikes, called Gravelator, benefit in particular from this liveliness. The motor supports you when you need it - just the thing for ambitious athletes. And beyond 25 km/h, the Gravelator can be ridden as smoothly as a bike without an e-drive.

At the centre of the Macina Gravelator SX Prime is a high-end carbon frame, which was made possible by the compact dimensions of the SX motor and the 400 Wh CompactTube battery. The frame impresses with its slim silhouette, which makes it hard to believe that it is an e-bike. The Shimano GRX RX822 12-speed drivetrain with wireless technology is also impressive, making conventional shift cables superfluous and guaranteeing extremely precise gear changes. The setup is complemented by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with lightweight 160 mm discs, which provide excellent braking power.

Bosch Performance SX - Sporty power for easy e-biking

The Bosch Performance SX motor brings back the sporty, lightweight riding experience. With a torque of 55 Nm, it is somewhat more moderate than the Performance CX, but the lightweight design concept compensates for this with its efficiency. Less weight means less energy expenditure when accelerating. This is complemented by the 400 Wh CompactTube battery, which offers almost silent and smooth support. For longer tours, an additional 250 Wh Range Extender battery can be used, which is simply stored in the bottle cage. The Performance SX drive is part of the smart system and can be controlled via Bluetooth using the eBike Flow app, which enables numerous tuning options and simple firmware updates.
