Power and control go hand-in-hand. So, with the Aim SLT, we paired Shimano's wide-ranging, easy-to-use and utterly dependable 1x12 gears – including an XT derailleur – with the tenacious grip of Schwalbe 2.25in tyres – so every little bit of effort you put in propels you forward. To increase comfort and control on even bumpy trails, we fitted an easily adjustable Suntour air-sprung suspension fork with 100mm travel. And, to ensure that you can always slow and stop safely, we added a set of powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Now it's over to you...

You'll notice that the Aim's High Performance Aluminium frame features almost organic lines, carefully crafted tube profiles and joints that are so smooth, one tube practically flows into the next. None of that is an accident – we believe a frame that functions brilliantly should also have an elegant form. To that end, we routed cables internally – including provision for a dropper seatpost. Mounting points include compatibility with our Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 and a flat mount kickstand, while a tapered head tube ensures confidence-inspiring handling and the replaceable gear hanger means it's easy to get up and running again in the event of a knock to the derailleur.
