A good mountain bike removes barriers, which is why we made the Aim Pro FE as adaptable as we possibly could. Its mudguards, Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1, lighting set and kickstand make it as suited to the daily commute as it is to a longer tour at the weekend. The wide range and easy shifting of Shimano's Cues 1x11 gears put the right ratio at your fingertips. There's a 100mm Suntour suspension fork and wide, grippy 2.25in tyres to smooth your way on tarmac or trail. And the reassurance of strong Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to put you in control, whatever the weather.

You'll notice that the Aim's High Performance Aluminium frame features almost organic lines, carefully crafted tube profiles and joints that are so smooth, one tube practically flows into the next. None of that is an accident – we believe a frame that functions brilliantly should also have an elegant form. To that end, we routed cables internally – including provision for a dropper seatpost. Mounting points include compatibility with our Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 and a flat mount kickstand, while a tapered head tube ensures confidence-inspiring handling and the replaceable gear hanger means it's easy to get up and running again in the event of a knock to the derailleur.
