The Rail+ 9.8 is an electric carbon enduro bike made for high peaks and endless runs. With 160 mm of front and rear suspension travel, it's ready to take you through any terrain with confidence, while the powerful Bosch Performance CX drive system makes long climbs more bearable and even faster laps possible. Its adjustable geometry allows you to adapt the bike to the terrain and your riding style, the powerful battery lets you do endless laps and the wireless SRAM GX AXS transmission guarantees crisp gear changes. A frame made from OCLV Mountain Carbon with a Bosch Performance CX motor with 250 W power and 85 Nm torque, including a removable, integrated RIB 2.0 battery with a massive 800 Wh capacity. A FOX Performance Elite Float 38 fork with 160 mm travel as well as a FOX Performance Elite FLOAT X rear shock with 160 mm travel. Bontrager Line Comp 30 tubeless-ready wheels, a wireless SRAM GX AXS transmission, hydraulic SRAM CODE Bronze 4-piston disc brakes and a variable seatpost with internally routed cable.

Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.

With up to 100 Nm of torque, it provides powerful support on steep climbs and challenging trails. Thanks to improved sensor technology, the motor responds even faster to your pedalling and ensures a dynamic, natural riding experience. Weighing just 2.8 kg, the motor noticeably improves the handling of your e-bike, which really pays off on long tours and technical sections. It also runs more quietly, making for a more pleasant riding experience. Features such as Extended Boost and the revised push assist give you maximum control off-road.
