With the Orca, Orbea impressively demonstrates how an excellent racing bike can be further improved. The completely redesigned carbon frame, the electric Shimano 105 Di2 groupset and the 45 mm high carbon wheels make the Orca M30iLTD PWR a true climbing artist.

Better, faster, lighter. The Orca is entering a new era for your next bike season. After thorough optimization of the aerodynamics, the Orca now sets a new benchmark in terms of lightweight construction. To achieve this, the developers have consistently slimmed down not only the carbon frame, but all components. This is the only way to achieve the set goal in lightweight construction. The Orca thus awakens all the feelings of happiness that can turn road cycling into an addiction: Immediate acceleration, vehement propulsion and the ability to literally fly up long Alpine passes. Yet the Orca has remained a good all-rounder: With tire clearance of up to 32 millimeters, it can almost be transformed into a gravel bike.
In the M30iLTD PWR version, the Orca comes with the Shimano 105 Di2 groupset introduced last year and a powermeter. Once you've experienced how precisely an electric shifting system changes gears, you'll never want to ride anything else. This also applies to the hydraulic disc brakes, which reliably decelerate in all weather conditions. 45 mm carbon wheels with aerodynamic rims and thru axles provide enormous stiffness in the cradle. A carbon seatpost rounds off the lightweight concept.
The most striking innovation are the rear stays that now attach to the saddle sleeve. At the same time, the seatpost received a simpler but more efficient clamping mechanism. Further optimizations to the geometry: The wheelbase was slightly reduced, which improves the responsiveness when starting. And the fork blades received an aerodynamic lift. Orbea manufactures the Orca frame in two quality levels. The M30iLTD PWR uses OMR carbon, which is slightly less complex to manufacture compared to the OMX variant. The price / performance ratio can really be seen. The bladder molding process ensures that no wrinkles and irregularities occur in the carbon mats during production. At Orbea, they are keen to use as little raw material as possible. Thanks to Orbea's ICR Plus system, all cables run completely internally from the stem onwards. This underlines the clean look of this extremely fast road racer.
