KTM Revelator Alto Prime – high-end race bike with electronic Ultegra Di2 groupset

The Revelator series from KTM stands for sporty cycling on asphalt, efficient propulsion during training and riding enjoyment on long tours. For this, you need a light and agile bike that motivates you to keep up with the leading group. Or to conquer winding mountain roads. Or simply to ride fast because it's fun. For the 2026 season, the Revelator comes in new colours and equipment variants. There are also two completely new models with aluminium frames. Although the aluminium models are designed for beginners, their high-performance equipment and high-quality frame will also appeal to experienced road cyclists. The switch to carbon increases riding comfort and saves weight. Wheels with 30-millimetre-wide tyres make the Revelator extremely versatile, even for light gravel use.

The first thing that catches the eye about the Revelator Prime is its extravagant design, inspired by the 90s. But a glance at the specs confirms the extravagance of this KTM racer. Starting with the wireless Shimano Ultegra Di2 2 x 12-speed gear system, right through to the high-quality Cosmic SL45 carbon wheels from renowned manufacturer Mavic. The hydraulic disc brakes are also from the Shimano Ultegra group, so everything is of the highest quality! The 30-millimetre-wide Schwalbe Pro One tyres are ideal for versatile use on asphalt and light gravel.

Sporty and comfortable aluminium or carbon frames

The newly added aluminium frames perfectly complement the Revelator series. Particularly striking are the elaborately smoothed weld seams, which ensure smooth tube transitions and bring the design very close to carbon frames. Details such as the integrated seat post clamp add elegant accents. A carbon fork optimises weight. The Revelator Alto Pro, starting at around €1700, is the entry-level model in the carbon class. The model series continues upwards with the Alto Elite, Alto Master and Alto Prime. Race bikes with carbon frames offer a particularly high level of riding comfort thanks to their vibration-absorbing properties. The KTM name is also synonymous with excellent workmanship when it comes to carbon frames. In addition, the rear triangle is equipped with a virtually indestructible UDH derailleur hanger.
