KTM Macina Sport SX 10 Di2 US - Sporty, lightweight trekking e-bike with a well thought-out concept

KTM remains true to its line and with the Macina Sport series offers a versatile trekking e-bike that masters city missions just as confidently as longer tours. Thanks to the compact Bosch Performance SX motor, the models are particularly light and offer agile riding behaviour. The motor gives the bike a natural riding feel that comes close to that of a conventional bike. The Macina Sport series stands for versatility and comfort, with three different frame shapes for different rider types: the classic diamond frame, the sporty trapezoid frame with a lowered top tube and the step-through frame (US) for maximum comfort.

The Macina Sport SX 10 impresses with its air-sprung Suntour NRX32-E suspension fork, which was specially developed for e-bikes, and thus offers a high level of riding comfort even on longer distances. The Shimano Cues Di2 11-speed gear system ensures precise and smooth gear changes. In combination with the hydraulic Shimano MT410 2-piston disc brakes, which are reliable and low-maintenance, the bike is optimally equipped for everyday use. This includes a StVZO-compliant lighting system, sturdy mudguards and a robust pannier rack. Schwalbe tyres round off the equipment for durability and grip.

Bosch Performance SX on the KTM step-through bike - the sporty motor generation

Less is more! The compact Bosch Performance SX motor brings back the sporty, light riding feeling. The motor offers a torque of 55 Nm and thus compensates for the lower power output compared to other models, as less energy is required to accelerate a lightweight e-bike. To match this, Bosch has developed the CompactTube battery with a capacity of 400 watt hours, which provides smooth, almost silent support. The 400 Wh CompactTube battery offers a solid range and is integrated particularly harmoniously into the frame design of the low entry model - compatibility with the Bosch PowerMore battery extension has been deliberately omitted here in favour of a particularly low and comfortable entry. For longer tours, an optional Range Extender battery with an additional 250 Wh is available, which can be conveniently stowed in the bottle cage. Of course, the Performance SX drive can be connected to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth, which enables numerous tuning options and simple firmware updates.
