Equipped with the powerful Shimano Ultegra Di2 2x12 groupset, shifting is wireless, precise, and lightning fast, ensuring immediate and accurate power transfer. In addition, the Izalco Max 9.7 is equipped with a 4iii power meter, so you can always keep an eye on your performance in conjunction with a bike computer. Furthermore, the extremely lightweight Reserve carbon wheels significantly reduce the overall weight and, thanks to their deep 40/44 mm profile and high stiffness, ensure excellent acceleration and improved aerodynamics. Together with the Vittoria Corsa Next Tubeless Ready tires, they give this high-performance machine optimal grip and efficient power transfer while noticeably reducing rolling resistance. To ensure you can come to a safe stop even on steep climbs, the bike is equipped with reliable Shimano Ultegra disc brakes including 160 mm brake discs.

At the heart of the Focus Izalco Max 9.7 is the innovative Max Carbon frame, built to NACA standards, which offers a harmonious combination of extreme stiffness and high comfort. The specially developed arrangement of carbon mats in strategically important areas such as the seat tube, head tube, and bottom bracket keeps the frame extremely rigid, making power transfer direct and extremely efficient. At the same time, the sophisticated design ensures that vertical vibrations are effectively dampened, which noticeably increases comfort on long distances and reduces fatigue. The well-thought-out frame geometry also guarantees safe and stable handling that remains confident and predictable even at high speeds, despite the very low weight of only 865 g.

Focus has also designed the frame to work perfectly with Reserve's One Piece Cockpit. This not only ensures a clean, uncluttered look, but also improves aerodynamics and enables easy, precise handling. The robust thru-axle system also ensures that the wheels are precisely seated and prevents the brake discs from rubbing, which leads to increased stability and control and ensures a smooth, worry-free riding experience overall.
