Precision meets performance: the lightweight, aerodynamic carbon frame of the SuperX 2 is the perfect match for the Reserve GR wheels, which cut through the gravel with Vittoria Terreno Gravel tyres and eat up the kilometres. The electronic Shimano GRX Di2 gears are lightning fast and the hydraulic disc brakes ensure that you are always in control. Every detail of the SuperX 2 makes it a thoroughbred race gravel bike for the highest demands.

Tarmac or gravel? It doesn't matter at all. The new SuperX series from Cannondale is aimed at sporty riders who want to enjoy the greatest possible flexibility when choosing their routes. The former SuperSix Evo CX, one of the fastest cyclocross bikes on the market, was the inspiration for the development. The SuperX thus continues the tradition of cyclocross bikes, but evolves into the category of versatile race gravel bikes. The carbon frame combines aerodynamics and comfort. Aerodynamics? Yes, because the SuperX easily reaches similar top speeds on gravel as it does on the road. Comfort: The SuperX Carbon is supplied with 40 mm wide tyres, but tyres up to 48 mm at the rear and 51 mm at the front can be fitted. Mounting points for pannier racks and mudguards have been omitted in order to keep the bike purist and get to the heart of the race-orientated gravel bike. If you want to use the SuperX for UCI-certified cyclocross races, put on 33 mm tyres, set off and ride at the front of the pack.
In the Carbon 2 version, the SuperX comes with equipment that leaves nothing to be desired: The first highlight is the electronic Shimano GRX 825 Di2 drivetrain, which changes the 2 x 12 gears extremely quickly and precisely. The hydraulic disc brakes come from the GRX 820 group. Shimano has designed the GRX components specifically for use on gravel bikes. This means that you can fully rely on their function even under the most adverse conditions. The next highlight is the Reverse wheels with DT Swiss hubs and 40 mm wide Vittoria Terreno tyres - prepared for tubeless, of course. A carbon seatpost is a must on a gravel bike of this class.
Cannondale frames are among the spearheads of carbon frame construction. It is not for nothing that the US manufacturer offers a lifetime guarantee on its frames. Rarely have we seen more beautiful details, such as the organic transition from the head tube to the frame triangle. Or the flowing attachment of the seat stays to the seat tube. To improve comfort, the developers utilise the inherent damping properties of the carbon material. On the other hand, they have designed the frame in a clever way: The centrepiece is the seat tube, which flattens out towards the bottom bracket like a leaf spring. In combination with the seat post and the low-set rear triangle, the frame can deform vertically and thus absorb vibrations. This is easy on people and material, meaning you can sit in the saddle for longer without tiring.
