Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.

The Bosch Performance CX motor delivers 250 W of power and 85 Nm of torque, while the integrated RIB 2.0 battery with 800 Wh capacity ensures long-lasting rides. The RockShox ZEB Select fork and Super Deluxe Select+ RT shock, both with 160 mm travel, offer excellent suspension and control on any terrain. The Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain guarantees precise gear changes, and the hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes from SRAM deliver reliable braking power to keep you safe even in demanding situations.

The Trek Rail+ 8 Gen 5 is not only powerful, but also extremely customisable. Thanks to the adjustable geometry and the ability to adjust the suspension progression, you can optimise the bike to your needs and the respective terrain. The optional angled bearing shells offer additional customisation options to get the best performance out of it. The 800 Wh RIB 2.0 battery is easy to remove, for example for charging or transporting. And for particularly long adventures, you can equip the bike with the Bosch PowerMore additional battery, which offers you even more range.
