OCLV 800 Carbon - The most advanced frame Trek has ever built

Trek's proprietary OCLV Carbon has been a staple on the scene for years. There are different series for the bike classes, from mountain bike to road bike. The 800 Series OCLV was born from the desire to be able to manufacture an aero profile that is lighter than usual. Because usually aerodynamically shaped tubes require more material, thus also weigh heavier. The art is now to lay a razor-thin layup at the crucial points so that the frame despite its featherweight gets the necessary stiffness and strength. Another innovation is the brand new IsoFlow technology, which improves aerodynamics and comfort at the same time. The system focuses on the area of the saddle dome, where the top tube, seat tube and seat stays meet. Thanks to ingenious openings and formations, the frame flexes there in a controlled manner. In addition, they allow air to flow through unhindered. This also applies to the newly developed carbon handlebar, which is reminiscent of the wings of a jet.
