Even with the slightly cheaper-to-manufacture OCLV 500 Series frame, the Émonda is still one of the lightest production road bikes on the market. Thanks to the consistently used carbon components such as wheels, seatpost and handlebar / stem unit, the SL 7 easily breaks the 8-kilo barrier. In addition, you can enjoy all the benefits of improved aerodynamics, which were the focus of the development of the new Émonda generation. Or on a tour over famous Alpine passes. The work was done in the wind tunnel, together with the pro riders of the Trek-Segafredo team. The challenge was to find the optimal ratio of weight to aerodynamics. In addition to the aforementioned Bontrager carbon parts, the Émonda comes in the SL 7 version with the Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting and braking group. The precision and speed of this gear is simply outstanding.

OCLV 500 Carbon - price and performance in perfect proportion

The OCLV Carbon developed by Trek has been a household name on the scene for years. There are different series for the bike classes, from mountain bike to road bike. The 500 Series variant is slightly less complex in construction than the razor-thin 800 OCLV. Which makes the Émonda SL 7 just 400 grams heavier.
