Schwalbe Marathon Plus 40-622

Schwalbe Marathon Plus 40-622

Marathon Plus tyres are the only tyres in the world that can call themselves puncture-resistant. This is due to the unique, patented puncture protection belt - five millimetres thick and made of highly elastic special rubber. Even drawing pins cannot puncture it. But the Marathon Plus tyres are not only puncture-resistant. They also roll more easily than ever before and last an incredibly long time thanks to the anti-ageing sidewall.

Highlights

• Level 7 SmartGuard: The most effective protective belt for bicycle and e-bike tyres. 5 mm highly elastic special rubber. Only tyres with SmartGuard® and Smart DualGuard can rightly call themselves ‘non-flat’
• E-Bike Ready: The Marathon Plus is an ideal choice for e-bikes (E-50) thanks to its outstanding properties
• Rolling resistance: The patented, 5 mm thick SmartGuard insert has a clear advantage over all imitation products in terms of rolling resistance
• ‘Anti-aging’ sidewall: Withstands the typical overloads caused by low air pressure significantly longer before it develops ugly cracks
• Recycling: Schwalbe also uses a proportion of recycled rubber from old latex products in the SmartGuard
