Orbea Vibe H30 EQ - With new e-lightness through the city

The Orbea Vibe belongs to a new generation of urban e-bikes. Light and manoeuvrable city runabouts that are economical with energy but still offer support when you need it. An attractive side effect: e-bikes like the Vibe look slim and elegant and their status is hardly noticeable. No bulky tubes and batteries, just an efficient rear hub motor that takes you effortlessly through the city. The concept works because there is less mass to get going. Even when the motor is in stand-by mode, the Vibe rides effortlessly on flat terrain. This is made possible by the Ebikemotion drive system from Mahle. The technology has undergone intensive further development in recent years and is now a serious alternative to the mid-motor. The battery can also be extremely compact as a result. And if you need more range from time to time, simply pack the optional Range Extender battery into the bottle cage.

The Vibe H30 EQ comes with an aluminium frame, lightweight carbon fork and reliable Shimano components. The Acera gear system offers 8 gears, the Shimano disc brakes can really get the job done and are unrivalled in terms of service friendliness. The highlight of the StVZO-compliant road equipment is the seamlessly integrated Lezyne lighting system. Commuters and touring cyclists can click their panniers onto the pannier rack in no time at all.

Mahle Ebikemotion - The power from the hub

The Ebikemotion X35 Plus drive system from the manufacturer Mahle gives the Orbea Vibe a completely new look. Thanks to a planetary gearbox with a small diameter, the hub with the integrated motor can be built extremely compactly. A battery with a capacity of 248 watt hours is all that is needed for the power supply. The compact battery is hardly noticeable in the down tube. We have already mentioned the range extender - in case the tour gets longer again. The support modes are controlled and selected via the minimalist iWoc control element on the handlebars. However, the drive can also be paired with a smartphone using the Ebikemotion app, which offers significantly more extensive control options and riding data.
