Orbea Terra M31e Team 1X - Powerful components for gravel enthusiasts

Gravel biking exerts an enormous fascination. And once you try it, you won't be able to get away from it - that's a promise! Road cyclists and mountain bikers alike love discovering new trails on a gravel bike. Travelling fast and sporty on the road, but being able to turn off onto the next dirt track at any time - that's pure freedom. You escape the traffic, enjoy nature more intensively and can even integrate easy single trails into your routes. You can also go on big adventures with minimalist luggage - bikepacking is the name of the game. More variety is hardly possible. This is exactly what Orbea has developed the Terra for, available with an aluminium frame (H series) or carbon frame (M series). The geometry of the bike is specially designed for gravel biking, based on Orbea's many years of experience in professional cycling.

In the M31e Team version, the Terra comes with a high-quality combination of SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS 1x12 drivetrain and SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes. The SRAM Rival 1x12 drivetrain was specially developed for gravel use and offers particularly precise and reliable shifting thanks to wireless technology. The rear derailleur ensures that the chain remains secure even in the event of heavy vibrations, which optimises performance in demanding terrain. The hydraulic disc brakes from SRAM provide you with excellent braking power and control, regardless of the weather conditions. The cockpit also features Orbea's own OC components, such as the OC Gravel handlebars, which ensure a relaxed riding position and optimum comfort.

Gravel-optimised carbon monocoque frame

Orbea manufactures its carbon frames in two quality levels. For the Terra M31e Team, the robust OMR carbon frame is used, which is specially designed for the demands of gravel riding. Thanks to the bladder moulding process, there are no creases or unevenness in the carbon mats, which ensures maximum stability with minimum use of material. The bottom bracket and head tube areas have been elaborately designed to achieve an optimum ratio of stiffness and comfort. A highlight is the Lockr storage compartment in the down tube, perfect for a puncture repair kit and a mini-tool. The frame also offers maximum versatility in the choice of wheels and tyres. As standard, 700c wheels with tyres up to 45 mm wide fit, alternatively you can switch to 650b wheels (27.5 inch) with tyres up to 50 mm wide - for even more comfort and off-road capability. This brings the Terra closer to the range of use of cross-country mountain bikes.
