It has long been known that the gravel bike is the most versatile variant of cycling. Sporty touring on a wide variety of terrain, from asphalt to gravel. Enjoying nature on secluded forest trails. And last but not least: by simply changing the tyres, a gravel bike can be transformed into a thoroughbred road racer in no time at all. Orbea has developed the Terra precisely for this versatility, which is available with either an aluminium (H series) or carbon frame (M series). The frame was developed from scratch, with Orbea incorporating all its experience from professional cycling.

As the top model of the Terra series, the M21eTeam 1X is equipped with the high-quality Sram Force eTap AXS groupset, in which the rear and front derailleurs are electrically operated. The transmission of the shifting impulses from the shift/brake levers to the components is wireless. The precision of the shifting processes is outstanding in any terrain. The Force hydraulic disc brakes are perfectly matched to the system. Another Orbea trademark are the OC components, which were developed in the company's own laboratories. A carbon seatpost and handlebar save weight.

Orbea produces its carbon frames in two quality levels. For off-road use, the M21e team uses the slightly more robust OMR carbon. The bladder moulding process guarantees that there are no creases or bumps in the carbon mats during production. Because at Orbea they are keen to use as few raw materials as possible. The areas of the bottom bracket and head tube are particularly complex in order to achieve an optimal balance between stiffness and comfort. The Terra frame also offers the greatest possible versatility in terms of wheels and tyres. If the classic 700c gravel wheels with tyres up to 45 millimetres wide are not comfortable enough, you can alternatively mount 650b wheels (27.5 inches) with tyres up to 50 millimetres wide. This means that the Terra is almost poaching in the territory of cross-country mountain bikes.
