Orbea Terra M20 Team - The Terra gravel bike with Shimano upgrades
The Terra is and remains one of the most versatile bikes in the Orbea line-up. Primarily designed as a sporty gravel bike, of course, it can also score points as a lightweight touring and bikepacking adventurer or as a fast city runabout for commuters. Slim mudguards can be fitted in no time at all. The frame and fork have elegantly concealed mounting points for all kinds of accessories. Fitted with narrow road tyres, the Terra even cuts a fine figure as a road bike. The Terra's core competence is its vibration-damping frame design, a combination of three factors: A top tube that slopes backwards, a rear triangle that sits low on the seat tube and a long seat post. This allows the carbon to flex in the area of the seat sleeve. The comfortable gravel geometry is characterised by a long reach combined with a short stem. The steering angle and fork caster have been optimised for every frame size so that every rider benefits from the balanced steering feel.
In the M20 Team version, the Terra comes with complete Shimano GRX820 equipment. These parts, specially developed for gravel use, function reliably and precisely even under extreme off-road conditions. Equipped with a classic 2x chainring at the front, the GRX RX820 brings the wide range of a 2x12 road bike drivetrain to the terrain. Furthermore, a more tightly tensioned rear derailleur ensures that the chain does not hit the chainstays on bumpy surfaces. Hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano have always been among the best brakes on the market in terms of performance and ease of servicing. Another Orbea trademark are the components developed in the company's own laboratories. These include the OC brand (handlebars, stem, seatpost) and, above all, the outstanding OQUO wheels.
OMR Carbon - frame construction in its most beautiful form
The Spanish manufacturer Orbea is one of the most renowned names in carbon processing today. You can see this in every fibre of the OMR frame. Harmonious transitions and clever carbon lay-ups ensure a raw frame weight of just 1040 grams. In the new generation, the Lockr storage compartment in the down tube has been enlarged by 35 per cent so that you have more space for emergency tools and a few energy bars. The right rear dropout is compatible with UDH derailleur hangers so that the latest and most robust rear derailleurs can be fitted. One or two chainrings? The choice is yours, the frame is ready for all drivetrain variations. Wide tyres? No problem, the Terra accepts tyres up to 50 millimetres wide - making it almost as capable off-road as a mountain bike.
