Orbea Terra H40 - The perfect introduction to gravel adventures

Gravel biking exerts a great fascination. And once you've tried it, you'll never let it go. That's a promise! Road cyclists and mountain bikers alike love discovering their terrain in a completely new way. Travelling fast and sporty and still turning off onto the next dirt track at will.  Beat the traffic and enjoy nature more intensively. You can even incorporate easy single trails into your new tours. Or get yourself some minimalist panniers and go on a long tour with your gravel bike. Bikepacking is the keyword. More variety is not possible. And that's exactly what Orbea has developed the Terra for, either with an aluminium (H series) or carbon frame (M series). The geometry has been specially developed for gravel biking, with Orbea drawing on all its experience from professional cycling.

In the H40 version, the Terra is equipped with a Shimano GRX RX400 2 x 10 gear system, which is complemented by a GRX RX600 crank and RX400 disc brakes. The Shimano gravel components work reliably and precisely even under extreme off-road conditions. The tightly suspended rear derailleur absorbs vibrations and keeps the chain under tension. The hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano have always been among the best in terms of performance and ease of maintenance. Another Orbea trademark are the OC components, which were developed in the company's own laboratories and are used in the cockpit. One example of this is the OC Gravel handlebar with optimised upper handlebar position for a relaxed riding position.

Hydroformed aluminium frame with innovative details

As is usual with Orbea, the H in the model designation indicates that the frame is made of aluminium. Thanks to modern hydroforming technology, the material is transformed into an organic design that follows the course of the forces. The smooth polished weld seams emphasise the flowing and elegant look of the Terra.
