Orbea says: Smaller battery, longer range! Isn't that a contradiction? No, because the clever concept of the Rise series focuses on better energy management, less weight and more sport. This is what many e-bikers have been waiting for and many who have switched to e-bikes. The Rise puts the focus back on a natural riding experience. Thanks to consistent lightweight construction, a Rise weighs a maximum of 20 kilos, depending on the frame type and equipment, and the models with carbon frames naturally weigh less. This makes it almost as agile and playful to ride as a bike without an e-drive. Ideal conditions for the intended range of use between all-mountain, enduro and trail bikes. There are two series of the Rise: The H models with an aluminum frame and the M models with a carbon frame.

The Rise M10 comes as a classic 29er fully, mostly equipped with high-quality components from the Shimano XT group: a precise 1 x 12 rear derailleur and low-maintenance hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes. Responsible for the agile riding characteristics is the highly sensitive suspension with Fox 36 Float Factory suspension fork and a Float X Factory shock, also from the legendary Fox forge. Typical of a modern all-rounder, the suspension provides 150 millimetres of travel at the front and 140 millimetres at the rear. Enough reserves for any terrain.

With the EP series, Shimano has brought one of the best e-bike motors on the market. With the help of the Orbea RS firmware, the unit can manage the energy even better. The software limits the maximum torque to 60 Nm. Sporty e-bikers don't need more! The compact motor weighs just three kilos. The battery has an output of 360 watt hours and, thanks to its extremely slim design, could be integrated almost invisibly in the down tube. If necessary, the reserves can be increased by another 250 watt hours with an optional extender battery. In keeping with the lightweight concept, the drive is only controlled via a rocker switch near the brake lever. For more extensive control options, the system can be connected to a smartphone or watch via Bluetooth.
