There's news for the Rallon! Orbea has revised its enduro bike and, above all, tuned the suspension more harmoniously: The rear suspension now offers 167 millimeters of travel and thus works better with the 170 mm suspension fork. In view of the suspension travel, the range of use is almost automatically defined: the Rallon would love to get to know all the enduro trails and bike parks in the world. However, Orbea has not neglected the all-round capabilities during development. Thanks to the lightweight carbon frame, this enduro bike also climbs the mountains surprisingly well. And on the trail, the Rallon can be easily maneuvered around tight bends. The geometry, pivot points and kinematics have been optimized in close collaboration with the Orbea Race Team. The Rallon can be ridden with either a full 29-inch or mixed wheelset (29-inch front wheel/27.5-inch rear wheel).
The highlight of the Rallon M11 is the electric Sram GX Eagle AXS shifting group, in which the switching pulses are transmitted wirelessly from the cockpit to the rear derailleur. 100 percent precise and ultra-fast! Then a chassis, which is truly not from bad parents: The Rallon M11 comes, as all Rallon models, with an uncompromising Fox 38 Float Performance suspension fork. At the rear works a Float X Performance damper, also from the suspension specialist Fox. For downhill safety, Sram Code Bronze disc brakes with 200 mm discs and powerful 4-piston technology. The fast Race Face wheelset is equipped with Maxxis downhill tires. This equipment leaves nothing to be desired.
The heart of all Rallon models is the immaculately crafted OMR carbon frame. The abbreviation stands for Orbea Monocoque Race and once again makes the claim of this machine clear. In addition to the use of high-strength carbon fibers, the main feature of the frame is its asymmetrical design. A single lateral support strut runs parallel to the shock between the top tube and seat tube in order to dissipate the forces when the rear suspension compresses. There is space for a water bottle underneath this clever design. The linkage of the shock plays a decisive role: the main joint was deliberately placed in front of the seat tube to allow the insertion of an extra-long telescopic seat post. At the rear joints, the lever position can be changed with the help of eccentrics so that the rear triangle harmonizes with either a 29-inch or 27.5-inch wheel.
