The Oiz models are very much in the Orbea tradition: sporty CrossCountry fullys with the will to win. Two world championship titles should be enough proof that the Oiz belongs at the top. Thanks to the excellent frame, it is one of the lightest, stiffest and most powerful fullys on the market. This applies to both the H models (aluminium) and the M models (carbon). The frame has been equally developed for two suspension travels: 100 millimetres to comply with the rules in official competitions. And 120 millimetres, which is optimal for most bikers in training and on tours. The M30 comes from the factory with 100 mm Fox suspension and is thus virtually ready for the starting line. The OMR carbon frame in size M weighs just 2080 grams including shock. In the 100 mm version (XC), the frame has a particularly sporty geometry with a long reach and angles that are 1 degree steeper. In search of more stiffness and clearer lines, Orbea developed the Alloylink, which connects the rear triangle and main frame. The link is seamlessly integrated into the frame shape and seat tube and combines low weight with high stiffness. An internal cable routing today is actually nothing exciting. And yet Orbea has managed to further improve this feature as well. For example, the I-Line system, where the cable for the rear lockout runs on a straight path from the head tube through the top tube to the rear shock. Friction is no longer an issue here. For the special cable linkage, Fox even modified the shock especially for Orbea. This version of the Oiz M30 comes with a Shimano XT 1x12 groupset and Deore disc brakes, which are in no way inferior to the XT in terms of function. The Maxxis Rekon Race 2.35 tyres provide traction and comfort. A special feature of Orbea are the high-quality, tuned OC components from our own company. The handlebar/stem combination, for example, was developed with a new, integrated design. And the lightweight seatpost on the Oiz M30 also comes from the Orbea laboratories.
Founded as early as 1840, when it was still a weapons forge, Orbea has been one of the most important traditional bicycle manufacturers in Spain since the 1930s. Based in the bike-crazy Basque country, the company's philosophy has always been to be close to the sport. Fans know the legendary atmosphere on the roads when the Tour de France makes a detour into the Spanish Pyrenees. Numerous professional teams in MTB and road cycling trust in the quality of the bikes from the Basque Country. We are pleased to be able to offer you Orbea bikes from now on in the Rabe webstore and in our branches.
