Orbea's speciality is building racing bikes that enable fast mountain biking and road cycling in the best sense of the word. The Oiz is the right choice: a CrossCountry Fully for effective training and for pushing physical limits - and of course for winning races. The facts speak for themselves: The Oiz is one of the lightest, stiffest and most powerful fullys on the market with a 120 mm chassis, competition-ready geometry and high-quality, performance-oriented components made of lightweight carbon (M series) or aluminium (H series). The result is one of the lightest, stiffest and most powerful fullys on the market.
The quality of the suspension is a top priority for the Oiz M21. The lightweight, XC-specialised suspension elements at RockShox Select level are among the best on the market and therefore guarantee no compromises. The characteristics can be fine-tuned for every riding style. The fork with a stanchion tube diameter of 34 millimetres is also extremely stable. Orbea relies on a skilful mix of Sram and Shimano components with the GX Eagle drivetrain and Deore brakes for the drivetrain and brakes. Racers swear by high-quality tyres such as the Maxxis Rekon Race in the high-traction width of 2.40 inches. A speciality of Orbea are the OC components, which are tuned in the company's own laboratories, such as the handlebar/stem combination with its organic design and the indispensable telescopic seatpost.
The Spanish manufacturer's carbon frames are of the highest quality. Orbea produces the Oiz frame in two different quality levels: the OMR carbon is used for the M21 model, which is slightly less expensive to manufacture than the OMX version. The price-performance ratio is extremely attractive. The bladder moulding process ensures uniform processing of the carbon fibre mats without creases or unevenness. Orbea attaches great importance to using as few raw materials as possible. Thanks to the Orbea ICR Plus system, all cables from the handlebar cover onwards run completely inside the frame. This emphasises the tidy design of this extremely fast road bike.
