This full suspension carbon MTB calls for mountain action. With its 150mm travel in the front and rear, it is mainly intended for trail and light enduro use, but thanks to its strong climbing characteristics can also be enjoyed on regular tours. The special, asymmetrical design of the frame places the right-hand support strut more centrally and can process the suspension forces in the front frame triangle more efficiently. This improves the stiffness in this particularly heavily loaded area of the frame without adding unnecessary weight. However, the asymmetric frame design offers other advantages that are not related to stiffness and weight: The continuous seat tube allows the use of longer Vario seat posts and better access to the shock settings. And by the way, the tidy design also creates space for a drinks bottle that is easy to reach from the left side. In this version, the Orbea Occam M10 LT comes with excellent equipment such as a complete Shimano XT component group including the award-winning 4-piston brake and 1-finger I-Spec levers. The suspension also literally shines thanks to Kashima coating with its FOX 36 Float Factory and Fox DHX Factory shock. More is almost impossible in trail use. The tyres of the Occam M10 LT are clearly tailored to trail use with the Maxxis Minion DHF in the front and Maxxis Dissector in the rear. Silicone closures at the entry and exit points in the frame, as well as a clever connection between the front and rear frame triangles, ensure optimal protection for the cables. The Occam comes with a new two-piece shock rocker design. Fewer components mean fewer connections and therefore fewer screws that can come loose. Besides, we now have more space in the axle. So you can put a practical multitool there, held securely by magnets. So you always have the most important tools at hand.
