Orbea Avant H30 - Versatile touring racer and all-rounder

Get on it, feel good, have fun. The Avant can simply do it all, from the whimsical after-work ride to the pass marathon in the Alps. Orbea has created the perfect blend of comfort and sportiness with the Avant series: An uncomplicated aluminum racer that shows its own style with its striking design. The geometry ensures with a slightly higher head tube that the handlebars automatically come up a few centimeters. The seat length (reach), i.e. the distance from the saddle to the stem, is also trimmed for comfort with a shorter measurement. The adjustments are subtle but effective. Then there's the exceptional ergonomics of the OC cockpit, which was also developed in Orbea's labs. With its special shape, the handlebar helps to relax the shoulders and neck. Clever detail: the stem is prepared for front mounting of a computer.

In the H30 version, the Avant comes with the indestructible Shimano 105 drivetrain, which has recently been upgraded to 2 x 12 gears. The 105 components have been the benchmark in the mid-range segment for years. The hydraulic disc brakes are also from the market leader Shimano and convince with unsurpassed function and ease of service. At the tubeless wheels thru axles provide high lateral stiffness. Hydroformed aluminum frame

As usual with the manufacturer Orbea, the H in the model name indicates that the frame is made of aluminum. Thanks to modern hydroforming technology, the material gives rise to an organic design that follows the flow of forces. Smoothly polished weld seams emphasize the flowing, elegant look of the Avant. The fork, on the other hand, is made of carbon and, like the rear triangle, has integrated mudguard mounting points. Chainstays, seatstays and fork blades provide clearance for tires up to 30 millimeters wide, which should satisfy any comfort requirement. Another highlight: The ICR Plus system is a prime example of clean integration.
