Orbea Avant H30 D - Comfortable touring racer and all-rounder

The frame length is also trimmed for comfort with a shorter reach value. The adjustments are subtle but effective. Then there's the exceptional ergonomics of the OC Cockpit, also developed in Orbea's labs. The handlebars help relax the shoulders and neck with their special shape. Below the stem, the cables run invisibly into the head tube and on through the frame to the gears and brakes. The ICR Plus system is a prime example of clean integration. This also includes the preparation for the front mounting of a computer on the stem.

Hydroformed aluminum frame with Shimano 105 components

As usual with the manufacturer Orbea, the H in the model name indicates that the frame is made of aluminum. Thanks to modern hydroforming technology, the material gives rise to an organic design that follows the flow of power. Smoothly polished weld seams emphasize the flowing, elegant look of the Avant. The fork, on the other hand, is made of carbon and features integrated mudguard mounting points. The rear triangle and fork offer clearance for tires up to 30 mm wide, which should satisfy any comfort requirement. In the H30 version, the Avant comes with the indestructible Shimano 105 group, consisting of 2 x 11 drive and hydraulic disc brakes. In addition, a lightweight Orbea wheelset with sturdy thru axles and a high-quality Fizik Aliante saddle.
