KTM X-Strada 30 - Gravel and fitness bike for beginners

Austrian premium manufacturer KTM is an expert when it comes to off-road two-wheelers. So it was only logical that the cross specialists expanded their range a few years ago to include a new, special gravel bike line. After all, gravel biking is far more than just a trend. In principle, the gravel bike is actually the most versatile type of bike. You can ride it on almost any road, from asphalt to gravel. Even forest paths and trails are rideable, whether sporty or more enjoyable. KTM has two model series at the start, one with an aluminum frame and one with a carbon frame. In both series you will find different equipment variants for every budget.

The X-Strada 30 with aluminum frame and robust Sram Rival 1 x 11 drivetrain is the entry-level model. The Tektro disc brakes work according to the price range via Bowden cables. What a reliable function but does not detract. As soon as you turn off the asphalt you will appreciate the comfort of the 45 millimeter wide Maxxis tires. The equipment is completed with numerous KTM parts, which are characterized by smooth function.

Sporty, comfortable frame with sensible mounting points for accessories

When developing the frame, the focus was on high all-round suitability.   The geometry is a healthy mix of sporty and comfortable, so that from daily urban use to fitness training and multi-day gravel adventures, everything is possible with the X-Strada. The versatility is also evident in some details: the rear triangle and fork blades are wide enough to accommodate tires up to 48 millimeters wide. Threaded eyelets in the appropriate positions allow the mounting of accessories such as water bottles, mudguards, lighting system and luggage rack. In addition, a LowRider luggage rack can be screwed onto the fork.
