KTM Macina Superbelt SX – Low-maintenance, lightweight e-bike with belt drive

The compact Bosch Performance SX drive not only makes the Superbelt light. KTM has also consistently implemented a carefree concept here with a virtually maintenance-free belt drive in combination with a hub gear. Just hop on, ride off and have fun – every day. And don't worry, the drive still offers more than enough support when you need it. For everyday use, the lightweight aluminium frame is equipped with all the accessories you need to brave the weather and darkness. Added to this are selected comfort components: a suspension fork at the front and wheels with durable tyres. Almost a trademark of KTM trekking bikes is the multi-adjustable stem, which allows for every conceivable seating position.

With the Macina Superbelt SX, you can choose between three different frame variants: SX with diamond (men's) frame, SX trapezoid with semi-lowered top tube and SX US as a low step-through. The Bosch Performance SX drive and equipment are identical in each case: the belt drive runs on the rear wheel via a maintenance-free Shimano Alfine 8-speed hub gear. The reliable hydraulic disc brakes are also from market leader Shimano. Puncture-proof Schwalbe tyres and a Suntour suspension fork ensure comfort. Of course, the Macina Gran comes ex-factory with high-quality road equipment, consisting of mudguards, lights, a side stand and a luggage rack that can really take a beating.

Bosch Performance SX motor – compact, lightweight and powerful

All drive components are part of Bosch's smart system and are interconnected. The Bosch Performance SX is the lightest and most compact motor in the German manufacturer's portfolio. Nevertheless, the unit can deliver up to 60 Nm of torque and 600 watts to the chain. The Bosch CompactTube battery has a capacity of 400 watt hours. The concept works: less bike weight also requires less drive energy. In addition, the Macina Superbelt is easy to pedal even when the motor is switched off. It is controlled via a system controller built into the top tube and a mini remote thumb switch on the handlebars. That's all you need! Coloured LEDs provide information about the riding mode and battery status. A Bluetooth connection to the eBike Flow app on your smartphone opens up further possibilities, including the latest firmware updates. This ensures that your drive is always up to date.
