KTM Macina Sport SX Elite Di2 US - Sporty, lightweight trekking e-bike with carbon frame

The Austrian premium manufacturer KTM impresses with a technically high-quality and cutting-edge model range. The e-bike series are equipped with the powerful Performance SX motor from Bosch. This makes the e-bikes lighter, more manoeuvrable and more agile when riding. The core competence of the Macina Sport remains unchanged: a versatile companion for city and tour. There are three different frame shapes to choose from for every type of rider: 1. the classic diamond frame, which is popular with men and is also becoming increasingly popular with women. 2. the sporty, comfortable trapezoidal frame with a top tube that slopes steeply backwards. 3. the step-through frame (US), which offers maximum comfort with an open step-through.

The highlight of the Macina Sport SX Elite Di2 is the elegant carbon frame, which saves weight and increases riding comfort. Another comfort factor is the air suspension fork from Suntour, which was specially developed for e-bikes. The electronic Shimano Cues Di2 11-speed drivetrain, which enables precise shifting, will soon be upgraded to an automatic mode with a free update. The maintenance-friendly Shimano MT410 2-piston disc brakes ensure reliable deceleration. The Macina Sport is also ideally equipped for everyday use: with a StVZO-compliant lighting system, sturdy mudguards and a robust pannier rack. The durable Schwalbe tyres round off the overall package.

Bosch Performance SX on the KTM step-through bike - the sporty motor generation

Less is more! The compact Bosch Performance SX motor brings back the sporty, light riding feeling. The motor offers a torque of 55 Nm and thus compensates for the lower power output compared to other models, as less energy is required to accelerate a lightweight e-bike. To match this, Bosch has developed the CompactTube battery with a capacity of 400 watt hours, which provides smooth, almost silent support. The 400 Wh CompactTube battery offers a solid range and is integrated particularly harmoniously into the frame design of the low entry model - compatibility with the Bosch PowerMore battery extension has been deliberately omitted here in favour of a particularly low and comfortable entry. For longer tours, an optional Range Extender battery with an additional 250 Wh is available, which can be conveniently stowed in the bottle cage. Of course, the Performance SX drive can be connected to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth, which enables numerous tuning options and simple firmware updates.
