KTM Macina Scarp SX Master - The popular Scarp race bike as a versatile E-Fully

The new, extremely light and compact Bosch Performance SX motor heralds a new era. Reason enough for the Austrian premium manufacturer KTM to redesign all e-bike model series with the Bosch SX drive in mind. A remarkable statement in favour of sportier e-biking. All in all, the models have become lighter, are easier to handle and appear much more agile when riding. The natural riding feel familiar from normal bikes has returned. The launch of the E version of the well-known Scarp fullys also fits in with the new lightweight construction concept. Thanks to the compact SX drive in combination with the newly developed carbon frame, the Macina Scarp has become an extremely versatile full-suspension e-bike that covers all areas of use, from cross-country to all-mountain.

The Scarp carbon frame has been completely redesigned to accommodate the motor and battery. The result is something to be proud of! In the SX Master version, the Macina Scarp comes with high-quality Fox Performance suspension that offers 140 millimetres of suspension travel. Ideal for a smooth all-rounder with a few enduro genes. The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain with its outstanding precision is used even by professionals. And the Magura MT5 disc brakes set standards in this class. The equipment is rounded off with an indispensable Vario seat post and a robust KTM wheelset, made by DT Swiss.

Bosch Performance SX - The new, sporty generation of motors

Less is more! The compact Bosch Performance SX brings back the sporty, light riding experience. With a torque of 55 Nm, the motor has a more moderate power on the data sheet than a Performance CX, for example. In practice, however, this fact is compensated for by the lightweight construction concept. After all, less energy is required to accelerate a lightweight e-bike. To match this, Bosch has developed the CompactTube battery with a capacity of 400 watt hours. The ensemble offers smooth, almost silent assistance. A Range Extender battery with a further 250 Wh is optionally available for long tours, which is simply inserted into the bottle cage. The Performance SX drive is of course part of the smart system and can be connected to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth. This opens up a wide range of tuning options and makes firmware updates child's play.
