The MACINA CHACANA is your daily medicine against wanderlust! In contrast to the very sporty Prowler and Kapoho models, the Chacana is classified in the touring bike track.  29 "wheels and 125mm travel at the rear and 130mm in the front provide optimum driving stability, maximum comfort and traction. The powerful and reliable Shimano MT420 brakes with 3-finger levers bring you safely to a stop at any time, while the now proven Shimano XT 11-speed shifting with 11-50 teeth makes you uphill as easy as can be. Since the Chacana should cover the ranges tour and marathon, it is equipped with 29 x 2.60 Schwalbe Johnny Watts. This mountain bike tire rolls well on gravel and road, but offers good traction off-road due to coarser side lugs. The Chacana LFC comes with high-quality road equipment such as a light system, weatherproof mudguards and a rack for side panniers.

Bosch Performance CX - Powerful support at all times

The Macina Chacana are equipped with the new Bosch Smart System. With this self-contained Bosch system, easily recognizable by the new control unit, you are equipped for the digital future. In addition to the high-resolution Kiox 300 color display, the Bosch Performance CX motor and a 4A charger, the system includes the most powerful Bosch Powertube battery ever (750WH) for even more range. In addition, the E-Bike Flow app opens the leap into the connected world and connects you with your bike. Thanks to the masterful work of our engineers, the proven KTM frame geometry has been retained despite the renewed increase in battery size and capacity. Removing and reinserting the battery is easier than ever before. Power Tube Top Loader (PTTL) is the name of KTM's own innovation for this user-friendly battery handling. As before, all models with LFC kit can be retrofitted.
