The MACINA CHACANA is your daily medicine against wanderlust! In contrast to the very sporty Prowler and Kapoho models, the Chacana is a touring bike.  29" wheels and 125mm travel at the rear and 130mm at the front ensure optimum riding stability, maximum comfort and traction. The powerful and reliable Shimano MT420 brakes with 3-finger levers bring you safely to a halt at any time, while the now proven Shimano XT 11-speed shifting with 11-50 teeth makes riding uphill as easy as possible. Since the Chacana is intended to cover the Tour and Marathon ranges, it is equipped with 29 x 2.60 Schwalbe Johnny Watts. This mountain bike tyre rolls well on gravel and road, but offers good traction off-road thanks to coarser side lugs. The Chacana LFC comes with high-quality road equipment such as a light system, weatherproof mudguards and a rack for side panniers.

Bosch Smart System - Digital Future

The Macina Chacana is equipped with the Bosch Smart System. With this self-contained Bosch system, easily recognisable by the new control unit, you are equipped for the digital future. The system includes the high-resolution Kiox 300 colour display, the powerful Bosch Performance CX motor and a 4A charger, as well as the most powerful Bosch Powertube battery ever (750WH) for even more range. In addition, the E-Bike Flow app opens the door to the connected world and connects you with your bike. Thanks to the masterful work of the KTM engineers, the proven KTM frame geometry has been retained despite the new increase in battery size and capacity. Removing and reinserting the battery is easier than ever before. Power Tube Top Loader (PTTL) is the name of KTM's own innovation for this user-friendly battery handling. As before, all models with LFC kit can be retrofitted.
