KTM Gravelator Pro – Your entry into the Gravelator Carbon class
The Gravelator is already familiar from the KTM range. However, everything is different for the coming season. Firstly, the frame has been completely redesigned. And secondly, the series has been expanded to include numerous models. From now on, every cyclist will find their dream gravel bike at KTM. And at a very attractive price/performance ratio, both in the carbon and aluminum versions. The revised, modern geometry impresses with a perfect blend of sportiness and comfort. The frames of the aluminum models offer a slightly more upright riding position thanks to a higher head tube. The basic equipment offers everything a gravel bike needs: robust components, wheels with off-road tires, and numerous mounting points for bike packing accessories. For everyday cyclists, commuters, and touring cyclists, the Gravelator is also available ex-factory equipped with lights, fenders, and a luggage rack.
Starting with the Pro model, the Gravelator comes with a carbon frame and carbon fork. This elegant combination makes the bike agile and light, which you can feel immediately. The same goes for the sporty seating position on the Pro, which is due to the slightly lower cockpit compared to the aluminum version. This is complemented by modern equipment with components from the Shimano GRX gravel series, consisting of a 1 x 11 drivetrain and reliable hydraulic brakes. But it's the wheelset, fitted with 45 mm wide Maxxis tires, that makes this versatile gravel bike ready for all your adventures.
Top-quality carbon or aluminum frames
In the price range up to around $1,600, the heart of the Gravelator is a first-class frame made of 6061 aluminum. The bikes in this category are designated by numbers; the smaller the number, the higher the quality of the model. The Pro series, starting at around $1,700, marks the entry into the carbon class. The model series continues upwards with the type designations Elite, Master, Prime, and Exonic. Gravel bikes with carbon frames offer a particularly high level of riding comfort thanks to their vibration-absorbing properties. The name KTM also stands for excellent workmanship when it comes to carbon frames. Incidentally, the fork on all Gravelator bikes is made of carbon, even on the aluminum frames in the entry-level class! This is by no means a given. In addition, the rear triangle is always equipped with a virtually indestructible UDH derailleur hanger.
