KTM Gravelator 25 – The Entry Point into the KTM Gravel Bike Series
The Gravelator has long been part of the KTM lineup. However, for the coming season, everything is different. First, the frame has been completely redesigned. Second, the series has been expanded with numerous new models. From now on, every rider can truly find their dream gravel bike at KTM—offering a very attractive price-performance ratio in both carbon and aluminum versions. The updated, modern geometry delivers a perfect mix of sporty and comfortable handling. The aluminum models, thanks to a higher head tube, offer a slightly more upright riding position. The standard equipment includes everything a gravel bike needs: durable components, wheels with off-road-ready tires, and multiple mounting points for bikepacking accessories. For everyday riders, commuters, and touring cyclists, the Gravelator is also available from the factory equipped with lights, fenders, and a rear rack.
In the 25 version, the Gravelator already comes at an entry-level price with a high-quality aluminum frame and a lightweight carbon fork. The Shimano Cues drivetrain provides 11 gears combined with a single chainring at the crank. The hydraulic disc brakes also come from Shimano, the industry leader known for reliable components. The robust wheels, paired with 45 mm wide tires, roll comfortably over any gravel or forest path. The Maxxis name on the puncture-resistant casing stands for high quality as well.
High-quality frames made of aluminum or carbon
In the price segment up to around 1600 euros, the heart of the Gravelator is a premium 6061 aluminum frame. Bikes in this category are labeled with numbers—the smaller the number, the higher the quality of the model. In the Pro series, starting at around 1700 euros, begins the entry into the carbon class. The model ranges continue upward with the designations Elite, Master, Prime, and Exonic. Carbon gravel bikes offer particularly high riding comfort thanks to their vibration-damping properties. KTM also stands for excellent workmanship when it comes to carbon frames. And by the way: all Gravelator bikes come with a carbon fork—even the aluminum entry-level models! This is by no means standard. In addition, the rear end always features a nearly indestructible UDH derailleur hanger.
