The German manufacturer Haibike has specialised in e-bikes for many years. With the new Trekking series, the Schweinfurt-based company has consistently taken the topic of e-mobility in everyday life to its logical conclusion. After all, most cyclists are looking for an e-bike with as versatile a profile as possible for this area of use: suitable for daily rides in the city, the evening fitness round, an occasional weekend tour and ideally also stable enough for a bike trip with luggage. The basis of the Haibike Trekking models is therefore a robust frame made of 6061 aluminium with suspension fork (model depending on price class). Crucial for riding comfort are 27.5-inch wheels equipped with wide tyres - unmistakably a borrowing from the MTB sector. They provide extra cushioning on gravel and forest paths. But only legally compliant StVZO equipment makes an everyday e-bike perfect: the highlight of the Trekking models is the bright Skybeamer light system. In addition, there are sturdy mudguards and a load-bearing luggage rack. Thanks to the model designations, you can easily find your way around the Haibike range: The larger the number in the name of the e-bike, the higher the quality of the built-in equipment (gears, brakes, suspension fork, etc.).

Bosch Performance CX drive - when maximum power is required

The models 9 and 10 are the powerhouse of the Haibike Trekking series. More experienced e-bikers will enjoy the motorisation with the fourth generation Bosch Performance CX drive. The best motor in the market leader's portfolio pushes the bike forward with a maximum torque of 85 Nm, even with a luggage load. You can see from the heavy-duty luggage rack that the Trekking 10 really deserves its name. Nothing stands in the way of your next bike trip! The frame in typical Haibike design is particularly appealing with its elegant motor interface. The two-part construction promises optimal cooling for the extremely compact motor. Another highlight of the Haibike top models is the Modular Rail System. It offers the possibility to carry an additional 500 Wh battery on the down tube, which increases the capacity of the internal 625 Wh battery to 1125 Watt hours. This makes the Trekking 10 the range winner in its class.
