Focus Thron 8 - comfort and safety on long, mountainous tours

The Focus Thron 8 was specially developed for long E-MTB tours in demanding terrain. The suspension with the specific Thron Tune ensures that bumps are reliably absorbed, while the long chainstays provide optimum traction on climbs. This means you always have full control and power transfer, even on steep climbs.

The Thron 8 EQP is powered by the 5th-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which delivers 85 to 120 Nm of torque. The large 800 Wh battery ensures long-lasting rides, which can be extended to up to 1,050 Wh with the PowerMore 250 Wh range extender. This means you’ll be well-equipped even on long tours.

With up to 120 Nm of torque, it provides powerful support on steep climbs and challenging trails. Thanks to improved sensor technology, the motor responds even faster to your pedalling and ensures a dynamic, natural riding experience. Weighing just 2.8 kg, the motor noticeably improves the handling of your e-bike, which really pays off on long tours and technical sections. It also runs more quietly, making for a more pleasant riding experience. Features such as Extended Boost and the revised push assist give you maximum control off-road. With these new features, the Bosch Performance Line CX motor takes your e-mountain bike experience to a whole new level.
