Cannondale Moterra Neo Carbon 1
The flagship of the Cannondale All Mountain Class. The Moterra Neo stands for All Mountain Performance at its best. And it is already in its fourth generation. An E-Fully with a huge range of use that leaves nothing to be desired. Neither on the trail, nor in terms of equipment. The chassis has now reached 160 millimetres of suspension travel. Why shouldn't it? Because thanks to the unrivalled Bosch Performance CX engine with 625 watt hour battery, there is no reason to do without this comfort luxury. The Moterra can do just about anything, whether it's relaxed after-work laps, fast downhills or whimsical flow trails. Or maybe a crossing of the Alps? Definitely no problem! The heart of the bike is the BallisTec carbon frame developed by Cannondale with modern geometry: short rear end, long top tube and flat steering angle. This ensures optimum weight distribution and traction, both when climbing and downhill. As the top model in the Moterra line, the Neo Carbon 1 is equipped with the finest components: Sram X01 Eagle 1x12 gears, Magura MT7 Trail disc brakes and a DownLow Dropper telescopic seatpost.
BallisTec Carbon frames set standards
The US manufacturer Cannondale is one of the pioneers in the mountain bike scene with its own technologies. Currently, BallisTec Carbon, which originates from the military sector, is causing a sensation. The frames made from it are characterised by durability and resistance. After all, an E-MTB frame not only has to bear the additional weight of the motor and battery, but also has to be able to withstand particularly high driving forces from the motor. The new Si motor interface is a prime example of organic shapes and flowing transitions. From below, a stable aluminum plate protects the motor from stone contact. In the Cannondale Moterra Neo series, the kinematics have been specially specified for each frame size to ensure that every rider can enjoy the best possible riding characteristics. Another Cannondale development is the Asymmetric Integration System (Ai): The rear triangle is offset by 6 millimetres towards the drive side. This provides more tire clearance, better climbing ability and a more stable rear wheel.
