Cannondale Moterra Neo 3+ - The top All Mountain E-Fully now with carbon frame
With the Moterra Series, Cannondale has a powerful all-mountain e-fully on the starting line. An all-rounder for every terrain, from flow trails to serious alpine tours. The Moterra 3's range of use even partly covers that of an enduro. This is because its 160 millimetre chassis offers sufficient reserves for technically demanding terrain and fast downhills. Uphill, the new Bosch Performance CX engine supports you with concentrated power. Energy loss? No longer an issue with a 625 watt hour battery. The Moterra encourages you to ride every trail twice. At least. In addition to the brand new Bosch engine, Cannondale has also given the Moterra further upgrades. The highlight is a main frame made of BallisTec Carbon, which gives this versatile e-fully the necessary agility. The geometry has been revised and is now clearly heading in the direction of modern: Short rear end, long top tube and flat steering angle. This ensures optimum weight distribution and traction, both when climbing and descending. The Moterra 3 is a versatile All Mountain Fully with RockShox suspension, Sram SX Eagle 1x12 gears, Sram Guide RE disc brakes and a TranzX Dropper telescopic seatpost.
Power and design in perfect symbiosis
The new Performance CX engine from market leader Bosch opens up completely new design possibilities for developers. In particular, its significantly shrunk housing volume is increasingly blurring the boundaries between mountain bikes and e-bikes. The BallisTec Carbon Technology developed by Cannondale creates further conditions for organic shapes and flowing transitions. A welcome side effect is the weight saving, both in terms of the engine, which is a good kilogram lighter, and the carbon fibre material. The frame of the Moterra is individually adapted for each size in terms of chassis kinematics and geometry. This guarantees consistently good handling for every type of rider. Another innovation is the Cannondale Asymmetric Integration System (Ai). Here, a rear end that is asymmetrical by six millimetres towards the drive side provides more tyre clearance and a more stable rear wheel.
