American manufacturer Wahoo is now known for setting the highest standards for itself when it comes to quality. The KICKR continues to offer the best in class stationary smart trainer design and combines the principle of being able to stop your hardest and most intense workouts while being easy enough to set up, regular set up and use so that you always feel like repeating your workout.
The Wahoo KICKR is made from carbon steel construction and a heavy flywheel. This manufacturing method allows for extra durable use and will suit any rider, no matter how different they may be. The KICKR is also designed to be quiet, so you can concentrate on your workout without worry. The only thing you will hear is your pulse and the pleasant sound of the chain changing.
The combination of the proven Wahoo algorithm and the precise, high inertia, 7.25kg flywheel provide the most realistic riding experience you can get on an exercise bike today. No one has ever been thrown out of the saddle, but the large footprint and high weight of the KICKR ensure your safety while exercising. This is especially important if you get carried away with a sprint in the heat of the moment, because the KICKR can deliver up to 2000W. Once you have finished your workout, the KICKR can be stored away in no time, as it is equipped with foldable legs.
The Wahoo KICKR is by far the most versatile smart trainer on the market today. Compatibility with Zwift and Wahoo SYSTM is now self-evident, but many more dirt training apps are supported, such as TrainerRoad, Rouvy or Fulgaz. Up to three different devices can be connected to the KICKR via Bluetooth. If you also want to have the possibility of an even more realistic riding experience, then it is also possible to use the compatibility with KICKR Climb and KICKR Headwind. Here Wahoo leaves nothing to be desired!
The KICKR is compatible with all common gear systems (Campagnolo, Shimano, Sram). The included 11-speed cassette is compatible with Sram and Shimano rear derailleurs. 8-11-speed cassettes from Shimano and Sram fit on the supplied freewheel body of the KICKR. The home trainer is therefore not compatible with a Sram 12-speed cassette with XD / XD-R freewheel or a 12-speed rear derailleur in its standard delivery. For Sram XD / XD-R cassettes and Campagnolo drives, a Wahoo freewheel body must also be purchased. The size of the cassette may be between 10 and 50 teeth. Compatibility can be checked at Wahoo for a wide range of bikes.
The KICKR is designed for all common axle systems. The adapter kit allows you to use the exercise bike with a 5mm quick release as well as with 12mm thru axles with a maximum width of 148mm. The KICKR does not come with a cadence sensor. If you already have one: The KICKR can be connected to almost all cadence sensors.
The KICKR is delivered with a cassette. However, if you would like to use a different cassette, you can purchase an additional one from us, depending on availability.
