Technology

Full Pin: FULL PIN™ technology uses eleven lightweight pressed steel sprockets, held securely together by 123 high-tensile steel pins. The result is an extremely lightweight and durable cassette that, with its ultra-wide gear range, is perfect for any ride. Similar to our X-DOME™ cassette, the open design keeps out mud and dirt whilst ensuring clean shifting and a long component life.

XDR: The XDR freehub body is a universal mounting system for cassettes with sprockets of fewer than 11 teeth. It enables lighter and more versatile drivetrains without requiring new rear axle standards, cassette tools or hub redesigns. The XDR interface is 1.85 mm longer than the XD interface and was developed for use with road bike hubs. XDR freehubs are compatible with all XD cassettes when the cassette is fitted with a 1.85 mm spacer.
