With the chain as the basis of every Eagle drivetrain, the NX Eagle chain is also developed and manufactured according to the unique SRAM Eagle architecture. This means that it is also fully compatible with all other components of the Eagle Ecosystem. With its construction of solid rivet pins and the Eagle PowerLock, the NX Eagle chain always shifts smoothly, efficiently and reliably.
The Eagle PowerLock chain lock with FLOW LINK technology offers better chain guidance and higher mileage. The unique design features also ensure significantly reduced wear on the Eagle cassettes and chainrings.

Eagle technology represents our latest 1x drive technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, tougher and easier to use drivetrain. Eagle features brand new 1x components that provide even greater durability and performance while offering a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. The Eagle technology also has an extended gear range of 520%, making it similar to 2x11 drivetrains.

Flowlink

The ultra-smooth inner plates of the chain are completely free of edges. This reduces friction on the cassette and chainring. The result: low-noise performance and a longer component service life. The chain design enables a narrower profile. This makes the chain more torsion-resistant. Thanks to its smoother outer plates, the riveting is more even and the tensile strength is higher.

PowerLock

SRAM's chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool-free, secure and consistent way to connect our chains. Although PL requires no special tools for assembly, the narrow tolerance range of a 10- and 11-speed drivetrain means that each PowerLock can only be used once.
