With the Shimano disc brake adapter SM-MA-F220P/PM, you can mount a post mount brake caliper on a fork or frame with a 180 mm post mount to use a 220 mm brake rotor.
This adapter increases braking performance by giving you the option of using a larger brake rotor. When mounting, make sure to use the supplied screws and stop ring correctly to ensure a secure attachment.
