Shimano Platten SPD-SL SM-SH12 2°

Shimano SPD-SL SH12 Cleats Blue 2°

The blue SPD-SL cleats are in the middle of the SPD-SL series cleat spectrum in terms of degrees. They are used by a large number of athletes and sportsmen with higher demands than casual cycling. The characteristic feature of the blue cleats is the narrower rotation range of the cleat of 2° or, seen from the centre, 1° in each direction. This narrower rotation range allows a firm connection with the pedal and therefore a higher pedalling efficiency than the yellow cleats from Shimano. The pivot point of the blue cleat lies in the front area of the cleat, so that your heel rather than the tip of your foot rotates and lateral sliding movement is prevented while pedaling. The blue cleats are the best choice for you if you have a lot of experience, are easy to adjust the cleats, have good leg mobility or simply know how to handle your clipless shoe.

The plates are attached to your shoe with 3 screws and washers. The cleat is only compatible with shoes with the 3-hole system. An indicator under your shoe will usually help you to adjust it for the first time.
