Nothing is out of the ordinary with the Hightower V3. The Hightower combines the latest technological highlights with the distinctive design and proven technology and quality of Santa Cruz Bikes. In the technically optimized lower link sits a flip chip for geometry adjustment and robust axles that virtually eliminate lateral flex. Santa Cruz uses high-quality and sealed Enduro MAX ball bearings and premium screws in the bell cranks. This makes them easy to maintain. Santa Cruz offers free replacement bearings for the life of your bike. The VPP system features a one-piece rear triangle with no pivot points on the stays, providing an indestructibly stiff frame for precise control and superior performance. The shock window, glovebox and internal cable channels highlight Santa Cruz's carbon expertise. There are descents that can handle more travel, but if the climb is as important to you as the descent and you get up to speed on your home trails, the Hightower is the perfect bike. Compared to the last Hightower, the anti-squat value in the first 40% of the suspension travel has been significantly reduced. This improves the response of the rear end noticeably both in the climb and in the descent, due to the decoupling of the drive. The chainstay length and the seat angle are matched to the frame size, so that every rider, regardless of body size, receives the same balanced geometry.
