The P ZERO Race TLR RS is a new, high-performance road bike tyre from Italy that has been specially developed for ambitious leisure and road cyclists. The improved, lighter SpeedCORE structure with a rubber layer and aramid particles provides additional stability and performance. Compound - SmartEVO

The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific property while guaranteeing a perfect balance of the opposing properties: the goal for every rubber engineer. To complete this project, Pirelli drew on its extraordinary experience gained in over 100 years of motorsport and the vast know-how of cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to apply this ternary polymer compound in such an advanced way as to ensure the "intelligent" behavior that characterizes the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip whether wet or dry, paired with low rolling resistance. Speed Core

The thinner rubber layer allows for better handling, while the aramid fibers distributed throughout the compound provide the necessary mechanical strength. High performance carcass with an additional layer of high cut resistant fabric under the tread to provide excellent puncture protection in a wide range of conditions.
