SmartEVO - Intelligent tyre compound

The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific property while guaranteeing a perfect balance of the opposing properties: the goal for every rubber engineer. To complete this project, Pirelli drew on its extraordinary experience gained in over 100 years of motorsport and the vast know-how of cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to apply this ternary polymer compound in such an advanced way as to ensure the "intelligent" behavior that characterizes the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound.
