The unique, wedge-shaped PP-1.2 slides into a hydraulic disc brake caliper to pre-set the piston when replacing pads, aligning pads and performing other maintenance tasks. Makes maintenance and repair of hydraulic disc brakes quicker and easier.

- The Park Tool PP-1.2 slides between the brake pads in a caliper, allowing the user to spread the pads and compress the pistons when servicing pads or wheels. The PP-1.2 increases the gap between the
- pads so that the disc can be easily inserted between the pads when reinstalling a caliper or wheel. The dual-density ‘Sure Grip’ handle provides a positive grip.
- The PP-1.2 fits Shimano® XTR® caliper housings.
Note: Wedge-shaped piston tools, such as the PP-1.2, are not intended for use with ceramic pistons in Shimano® road disc calipers.
